Angela Kurle, Clinical Mental Health Counselor (Spanish Fork)

Professional Highlights: Angela earned both a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Psychology from the University of West Georgia, where she taught a variety of college courses in the Psychology Department and worked part time in the university’s counseling center. Additionally, Angela worked three years in Atlanta, Georgia, for the state, working with individuals with substance abuse issues. Angela was previously employed as Clinical Director of a partial hospitalization program and intensive outpatient program at an eating disorder psychiatric treatment facility in Utah.
Specialties: Angela works primarily with adults with a variety of mental health issues including grief/loss, anxiety, depression, addictions (eating disorders and substance use/abuse), career/vocation/academic concerns, life transitions, intra- and interpersonal relationship conflicts, communication issues, and complex trauma. Angela has worked with a variety of clients from diverse backgrounds and beliefs, including those who self-identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community. Angela seeks to create a safe and collaborative environment wherein a client feels seen and heard, gains insight and greater self-compassion, and has a greater capacity to heal and move forward in life.
