Julia Bernards, Marriage and Family Therapist (Orem)

Professional Highlights: Dr. Bernards earned a master’s degree and a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy at BYU. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
Specialties: Dr. Bernards works with individuals of all ages, couples and families. She uses a multi-systemic approach in therapy, examining both the systems within people and those which comprise the context in which they live. Dr. Bernards integrates a number of models in therapy, including Interpersonal Neurobiology, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Family Systems and Mindfulness-based. She enjoys working with those experiencing depression, anxiety, family and marital conflict, compulsive behaviors, trauma/abuse, parenting issues, life transitions and child/adolescent issues.
