ALLIANCE PSYCHOLOGY

Professional Highlights: Alexyss received a bachelor’s of science in Psychology from Yale and a master’s degree in Psychology from BYU. She is currently completing her PhD in Clinical Psychology at BYU. Her research is focused on exploring the behavioral impact of personality traits on romantic relationship functioning. 

Specialties: Alexyss works primarily with adults with a variety of mental health difficulties including complex trauma, life transitions, anxiety, depression, and interpersonal concerns. She also takes a special interest in working with romantic couples to help them enhance and find happiness in their relationships. She takes a humanistic and interpersonal approach which allows her to support and empower clients to be the core component of change in their own lives. She also has experience working with individuals from diverse social and cultural backgrounds, and she is a LGBTQ+ ally.
