Professional Highlights: David Briggs earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2006 and then went on to receive his Educational Specialist degree in School Psychology from the University of Northern Colorado in 2010. Most recently, David also received a M.S. in Educational Leadership from the University of Wyoming in 2016. David has 14 years of experience providing testing, training, counseling and consultation services in schools with students K-12 along with 5 years of part-time experience in various settings, including private practice and residential inpatient. Specialties: David has experience working with children, adolescents and young adults in various settings with everything from anxiety, anger and depression to ADHD, Autism and ODD. He has extensive testing experience, having worked in both schools and private practice. Areas of testing expertise include: cognitive, academic, personality, social, emotional, behavioral, adaptive, autism, ADHD and executive functioning. David’s therapy approach is grounded in Cognitive-Behavioral and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, with elements of mindfulness and acceptance. He works primarily with children, adolescents, and young adults with a variety of mental health issues including ADHD, autism, depression, anxiety, and behavioral disorders.
