Professional Highlights: Elena earned her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Utah Valley University. She received her bachelor’s degree at Utah Valley State College in Psychology with a focus in American Sign Language. Elena participated on a research team at BYU, examining the effects of social media on adolescents, in relation to celebrities. She has also worked and volunteered with individuals from diverse populations ranging from preschool age to adults who deal with anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, and learning difficulties.
Specialties: Elena’s therapy style is holistic and insight-oriented as she strives to establish a safe environment of compassion and curiosity. She understands the importance of embracing one’s imperfections and the complexities of life with compassion and understanding. Elena sees people with a variety of mental health issues, including problems related to mood, anxiety, stress, autism, and ADHD.
