Professional Highlights: Melia Fonoimoana Garrett received her Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from Brigham Young University and taught elementary for five years. She is currently in the EdS School Psychology Program at BYU. Melia also works on a research team at BYU advocating for increased awareness about mental health services. She also helps to assess and diagnose individuals that have been referred for autism evaluations.

Specialties: Melia enjoys working with individuals of all ages but has a particular passion for working with children and adolescents. Melia helps to assess individuals for ADHD and Learning Disabilities. Melia is passionate about making sure that individuals receive the education and knowledge they need in order to receive the resources required to be successful. Melia helps individuals understand accommodations and interventions that can help children and adolescents within the school system. Melia is experienced in working with individuals from diverse populations.
